The Jacksonville Dixie Blues would like to thank our premier sponsors. Without their contribution and commitment to helping us succeed, 2015 would not have been possible. Thank you Air2G2, UBS Wealth Management, and Coach Jonathan Awad! The Dixie Blues appreciate you more than words can say!

The Jacksonville Dixie Blues are a women’s tackle football team, playing NFL-style football. The Blues have been playing professional football for 13 years and have won more games than any other organized football team in Jacksonville, sporting an overall record of 115-11.

We are a family of former college athletes as well as business professionals from all backgrounds. We are not only elite athletes, but also firefighters, police officers, health professionals, college coaches, teachers, etc. As a non-profit organization, we rely primarily on corporate sponsorship and donations from local businesses to aide in our pursuit of success. Without our sponsors, we would not be where we are today.

The Jacksonville Dixie Blues take pride in the national status that we have worked so hard to achieve. We are members of the Women’s Football Alliance (WFA) along with 67 other teams across the United States and Mexico. As three-time national champions as well as national contenders every year since inauguration, we strive to represent our home city as one of the most challenging and most popular locations in the United States. We travel regionally during regular season play and venture across the country as we work into post-season play.

The Blues also make every effort to give back to our community. For 3 of the past 4 years, we have held a home game known annually as ‘The Pink Game.’ The proceeds are given to the Donna Deegan Foundation, which raises funds for local breast cancer survivors. This has been our largest charitable endeavor to date. We are also pursuing other projects with Habitat for Humanity and the Police Athletic League to create a larger presence and reputation throughout the First Coast.

In continuing our pursuit of success, we have been faced with many challenges both on and off the field. The Dixie Blues had their first losing season in team history, ending at 3-5 this past season. That alone serves as the motivation these girls need to come back in 2014 faster, smarter, and stronger. We are always seeking raw football talent from individuals willing to contribute and help make 2014 our comeback season. If you think you've got what it takes to be a Dixie Blue, please contact us as soon as possible! We would love to hear from you!
